Photographing The Auto Cross

The Palm Springs Corvette Club held their annual Spring Fling Auto Cross today in Indio, CA. The event featured a Corvette / Viper challenge. There was no shortage of beautiful cars and I managed to get a few shots. I’ll be posting more in the days to come.

This Mustang was customized by Creations n’ Chrome.

As I’ve never tried panning – I gave it a shot today as well. I managed some acceptable motion images.

Rusty Ford and Flowers

Palm Springs Photography

Keeping true to my redneck roots, I love old pick up trucks. I think rusted trucks make the best yard art. This wonderfully rusty Ford truck was spotted in a front yard on Farrell Drive in Palm Springs. I hope the owners know how much I love it and how great it looks in front of their house.

No Crowds – No Bargains – No People – Palm Springs Photography

Palm Springs Photography

The Palm Springs Mall on Tahquitz Canyon Way is the perfect example of Functional and Economic Obsolescence. Only two stores remain open inside the mall – GNC & Radio Shack. It’s actually quite creepy to walk the length of the mall and the food court is completely intact with tables and chairs yet not a single food vendor.
